Some campuses are still accepting applications for Fall 2022
Visit the CSU Priority Application Deadline website to view a list of of campuses that extended their deadlines. There is an upcoming deadline of Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PT for five campuses. Please encourage students to check specific campus and program deadlines on their Cal State Apply account.
Transfer Applicant Academic History Updates due January 31st
Transfer applicants received an email last week with a request to update their Cal State Apply application with final grades from the previous term and courses in progress or planned for the upcoming term. Applicants must complete updates prior to Monday, January 31, 2022. For more details, the Academic Update Guide is available on the CSU Transfer and Counselor Resources pages.
Upcoming EOP deadline on January 15th
Students who expressed interest and the intention to apply to the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) on Cal State Apply for fall 2022 should check individual campus EOP application and documents deadlines on the EOP Admission by Term website. For the most CSU campuses, Saturday, January 15, 2022 is the deadline for students to complete the EOP application and letters of recommendation are due Monday, January 31, 2022.
Fall 2023 SAT/ACT update
The CSU's Admission Advisory Council (AAC) has unanimously approved a proposed recommendation for the CSU to discontinue the use of standardized testing for first-year admissions. The proposal must first be presented to the CSU Board of Trustees meeting on January 24-26, 2022 as an information item for the board to review. Then, the CSU Trustees will vote on the proposed changes to Title 5 at the March Board of Trustees meeting.

Annual Statewide Financial Aid Workshops
The California Student Aid Commission has three upcoming workshops covering the Cal Grant program, recent expansion, the California Dream Act Application and the California Dream Act Service Incentive Grant. For the list of dates and more information visit their website.
CSU Financial Aid website
Eighty percent of students at the California State University receive some type of financial aid. Take advantage of the financial aid resources for students on our Cal State Financial Aid website. Resources include a net price cost calculator and financial aid office contact information for each CSU campus.
Cal Grant filing deadline – March 2, 2022
Students must apply for a Cal Grant by the March 2 deadline by filing the FAFSA or Dream Act application and high schools must provide a verified grade point average (GPA) to CSAC by this date. For more information, visit the CSU Cal Grants page.

I completed my CSU application, now what? What is my application status?
Students will receive an email from the campus(es) they applied to with login information to setup a personalized portal. They should regularly check both their emails and student portals.
I need to make a correction or update on my application, how do I update it?
Once a student submits their application, no changes can be made. They need to contact the campus(es) where they applied to report the update/correction. Campuses will need to change it in their system.
